Day 1 Done!

Today was my first day back to college, and it was off to a new environment, new school, new students, new professors, new campus, and new driving! My classes went well, thankfully. To summarize, let me put it this way: the second half of the day went MUCH better than the first! Here's to hoping the rest of the semester goes smoothly!!

Quote of the Day

"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."

Maine 2012

We had a good vacation last week camping in Maine. The pictures are in the order they uploaded, not in the order of the week.

All packed and ready to go!

Our campsite:

The first morning, the sun was shining through the trees and the smoke was rising up from the campfire. Together, it looked really neat.

Our campsite was right on a lake, so Aaron had fun catching the frog's! So disgusting!

We went to Old Orchard Beach to do some shopping one afternoon, and as we were walking around, we had a little air show above us. It kept the boys entertained!

My siblings went on some rides at Old Orchard Beach, but unfortunately this is the only picture I have of them!

There was this little cart set up on the street and you could get real crepes! They are one of my favorites, so I of course had to get one! It was really neat to watch them being made.

Some random pics:

Rachel rented a golf cart, so everyone had fun riding around the campground.

Friday night we had a huge thunderstorm, so we got stuck sitting in dad's truck. We ended up going to Red Robin since our supper was ruined!

We went to Old Orchard Beach again on Thursday night to watch the fireworks:

Hanging out around the campfire:

We spent the day Friday at Old Orchard Beach all day. When we were done, we went over to Pine Point Beach so my brother's could go out on the sand bar. The tide goes out so far that you can walk through the water and get to another huge section of sand. The water was about waist height on me. Lots of crabs out there though!!
