Before & After: Apartment

I'm finally getting around to posting pictures! We just finished decorating, so that's kind of what I was waiting for.

The kitchen and living room is hard to see, but it was the same wallpaper that was in my room. It is now painted a cream color. 

1 year!

2 posts in 1 day! I'm on a roll! :) 

But, just wanted to say, today marks 1 year that my cousin and I moved into our apartment together. The year flew by. We have finished painting, so it looks completely different! I will be posting before and after pictures soon, I just have to finish decorating. But it will be soon seeing that next week is the Conference and we are hosting guests, so we better do it!

More Progress

More progress has been made in our apartment. We can finally see the end of the tunnel! Before & after pictures will be posted very soon!

Progress

Progress is finally being made in my bedroom! 

The wallpaper is almost all off!

The fun has begun!

We are painting our apartment! For those of you who have seen it in person, you already know that the wallpaper needed to go! 

First up, stripping the wallpaper! 

The first section of wallpaper to go was the fisherman on Amanda's wall! If you look closely in this next picture, you can see them fishing away. 

 We even found turquoise walls!

6 months!

So, I was talking to someone in church today, and they didn't know that I had moved out of my parents house and was living in my own apartment with my cousin. They asked how long it had been, and I said since August. I then realized that February 1st was the 6 month mark of living on my own! So this post is late, but it's better than never!

Our New Pet

So, my roommate and I have acquired a new pet and I wanted to share

the big announcement with all of my online friends.

Before I show you pictures, let me give you a little description.

He doesn't like darkness.

He's afraid of people.

He's afraid of camera's.

He's afraid of loud noises.

He lives right outside our front door.

Introducing, "Little Critter."

Anyone want a new pet?

He's free to take!
