YG Trip - Croghan, NY

This past weekend, some of our young group travelled to Croghan, NY to serve lunch in church on Sunday. As usual, we had a great trip. So thankful for cherished friendships! 

Latty, OH

Last weekend, I travelled to Latty, OH for a wedding. We drove out Friday and came home Monday. Friday morning, we met my cousins Jared and Scott for breakfast on the way! 

 I stayed with these girls on Saturday night. It was fun!

Block Island

Last week I went to Block Island for the day with some other girls. There were 2 sisters here from Minnesota, so 4 of use from Rockville took them to Block Island for the day. We had an absolute blast! We drove down to the shore Wednesday night after church and stayed overnight at the Bahler girls house.

We rented mopeds for a few hours. They were so much fun. I would definitely recommend doing it!

We took the ferry back that night and headed back to the Bahler girls house for supper. We then went over to the shore to watch the sunset and take more pictures!

JaNae and I drove back home that night as we were leaving the next day to head to Ohio for a wedding. The other girls stayed overnight again and spent all day Friday at the beach.

Ice Cream Contest

This past Friday night, the sister's got together and had an ice cream contest. We were divided into groups, and each group had to come up with a theme, create a recipe, go buy the ingredients, and prepare the ice cream. We had about 2 hours to do everything. It was lots of fun!

Memorial Day - Forrest/Fairbury, IL

This past weekend, I traveled with the young group to Forrest and Fairbury, IL for Memorial Day weekend.

Saturday morning, the young group hosted a brunch for our Rockville young group since we were the only young group that was there that early. Saturday afternoon, a few sister's took us Rockville sister's canoeing. I had never been canoeing before, and it was a fun experience!

It was great to see my cousin from Iowa and spend some time with her!

When we flew home Monday, we had a long layover so I had lots of knitting time at the airport!

Overall, it was a great weekend and I'm really thankful I went!
