Eliza Lou

I started babysitting Eliza Lou again two days a week. It's only until mid-April though until her little sibling arrives :)

She's such a good girl, and I love watching her run around all day!

Eating is so tiring!

Dad - Accident with Jetta

This past Friday (1/23), dad was in an accident with the MCM Jetta, his work car. To make a long story short, it wasn't his fault. The other driver tried to turn left in front of dad, at the very last minute. They hit head on. Dad was taken to the ICU Trauma Center in Providence, Rhode Island as a result of him hitting his head. He ended up being just fine, just very sore, abrasions on his forehead and cheek, and a cut on his left ear. It certainly made for an exciting weekend though!

Here's the jetta:

In this picture, you can see the front windshield cracked where dad hit his head.

Dad works for MCM Fundraising which is a Butter Braid company. He was delivering samples to prospective customers, so he had quite a few fresh baked butter braids in the car. When they went to see the car yesterday, dad said the butter braids are all over the car!

This is the other car, a Toyota Rav.

Well, hello New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! Can't believe its already 2015! And its been a long time since I blogged. So far this year has gone pretty smoothly! I guess thats a good thing :) I've enjoyed my winter break, I haven't done a lot, but it's been really busy and has flown by!

School starts on Monday, and its my last semester! I am looking forward to being done in May. I have received a lot of questions as for what I will be doing once I graduate in May. Honestly, at this point, I have no idea! My goal is to just get a full time job. We will see how it all unfolds!

Time for an update...

What have I been up to?? Lots of stuff! I am taking an online summer course which is the month of July. It has kept me really busy! Along with that, I've been having fun and enjoying the summer before my last year of school starts up!

Eliza absolutely loves to swim! So we do that alot.

Yesterday I went blueberry picking! Can't wait to go again this year.

I also babysat these twin girls the other day. They are the absolute sweetest, most precious little girls!

And, of course, here's the little kitty Kiwi:

Such a good thing Aaron buckled her in the car for the ride to her dr appointment:

Surprise Bridal Shower

On Saturday, my mom and my sister helped host a surprise bridal shower for two nurses they work with, one of them being Julianne, my sister's good friend. I was able to help with it and we had a lot of fun! We were able to pull it off as a surprise!

We did a brunch so we had a good variety of food! Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of everything.

These flowers were so pretty! One of the many reasons I love spring!

Rockville YG Trip to Croghan, NY

This past weekend, our young group travelled to Croghan, NY so we could serve lunch in church on Sunday. It was lots of fun! Saturday night, we had a potluck and singing at church. Here's my contribution:

I stayed at my uncle and aunt's house with these girls Saturday night:

Here's the group that went. Out of 50 people in our young group, 30 of us went!

So this happened.....

Yup, that's right. My car got stuck in the mud at young group this past Saturday night. Huge thanks Seth B., David M. and Sam S. for getting me out! It was pouring out, and the driveway was all mud! Let's just say all four of us were wet with rain and mud!!

Random Happenings

Some random happenings (mostly from Instagram) of the past few weeks:

This was my supper one night. It was well deserved after a long day of studying! :)

Eliza Lou, such a sweet happy baby!

You may or may not be aware that I am diabetic, so the doctors have been really pushing me to lose weight and get my blood sugar down before my next appointment which is the end of April. So I've been hanging out at the gym a lot!!

My parents went up to NY this past weekend to visit family. I had a stressful exam on Monday so I stayed home to study. This little fella kept me company and followed me around the whole weekend!

President Obama came to CT to speak today at my school (CCSU). I was somewhat glad that I didn't have to be on campus, I'm sure it was packed! My brother and I headed over to the airport to watch Air Force One land. It was pretty neat to see!

We were able to get out of the car and watch him land. In he comes:

After the plane landed, they closed off the road since that was the way the motorcade was going to go to get to CCSU. Here we are being blocked in by the police:

Pretty soon, along came the motorcade. Lots and lots of cars with tinted windows and lots of men in suits with sunglasses! We had to stay in the car with the windows up when they all drove by. There were a few people that got yelled at for not obeying the police commands! It was definitely tight security!

I came home and made some cauliflower soup for supper:

So you have it. My random happenings!

The twins are 1!!

It's so hard to believe that the little twins turn 1 today! Their first year flew by! Here's a bunch of pictures from their first year of life, in no particular order!

Miles likes to ride while Elliot likes to push!

Happy 1st birthday boys! Love you both so much!
