EVFD - Fall Clean-up

My brother, Seth, is a member of the Ellington Volunteer Fire Department. When dad had his stroke a few weeks ago, they wanted to do something nice to help him out. So while we were in NY this past weekend, they snuck a group of fire department members over to our house and did a fall clean-up. Dad was very surprised and so thankful for all the help to make the yard look nice! Here's just a few pictures they sent to us.

Happy Thanksgiving a day late! I spent yesterday with the Stomberg clan. My parents and siblings went to New York so I'm enjoying the peace and quiet to get my schoolwork done!

 I see the moon, the moon sees me. Down through the leaves of the old oak tree. Please let the light that shines on me, shine on the one I love.

These pictures were all taken the other night. I was driving home from my parents and noticed how beautiful it was. So I raced calmly drove home, grabbed my camera, and drove around looking for the perfect spot to snap some shots. I love how they came out!

Thanksgiving Pictures

For Thanksgiving, we went to Uncle Len & Aunt Deb's house. I remembered to bring my camera, but forgot to take pictures! I only got a few, so I figured I'd share them anyway.

Fall Birthday's

After our "little" snowstorm last night, and hearing about our possible 6-10 inches tomorrow, I figured I better get this post up!

A few Sunday nights ago, we got together with my mom's family to celebrate our fall birthday's.

Seth & Logan turned 16!

It was also Uncle Bob's 60th birthday. So, as soon as the dessert was being prepared, Uncle Bob disappeared and was gone for about 10-15 minutes. He thought he was being sneaky. Well, we all noticed. So when he came back, we acted like we hadn't noticed and let him sit back down and get all comfortable. Then appeared the cake with the big 60. We definitely surprised him!
