A Beautiful Reassurance

So, if you've talked to me at all this week, then you already know that it has been a stressful week. I had a final exam this afternoon, I have my calculus exam tonight, and my accounting exam tomorrow morning. So, its crunch time for studying. Yesterday, I just felt like my head was going to fall off. I didn't know how much more information I could store in it. I've been studying all day today, just sitting at my kitchen table. I needed a little break, so I got up and looked out my kitchen window. I have a tendency to look out this window and look up towards church. This is what I saw:

A very dark sky, with the sun shining on church. As I'm looking at church, I could hear the Spirit whisper "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (II Corinthians 12:9) So reassuring!

Komen CT Race for the Cure

Last week, I was kindly informed that I should be posting more pictures on my blog :) So, I decided to do a post on the Komen CT Race for the Cure, which was held the first weekend in June. A group of us walked in honor of Brenda.

We wanted a picture of the crowd walking in front of us;

When we registered for the walk, there was a section that you could fill out if you were a survivor of cancer. Somebody mistakenly filled it out :) and my sis ended up with these:

Overall, it was a lot of fun, and I'm thinking of doing it again next year!

Christmas Parade

Saturday night my parents, Aaron, and I went to watch the Christmas parade in the center of Ellington. My brother, Seth, marched with the fire department. I didn't get too many pictures because it was dark out and everything was moving, so some of them are blurry.
