Chocolate Chippers

I spent most of my afternoon yesterday making a mess in the kitchen! Our family is serving lunch in church on Sunday, so I offered to do most of the baking for mom. Started today and will go all week!

Someone thought it would be fun to eat all my dough!

Although she actually spent most of the time doing this instead. I'm glad I don't have to do that right now!

They came out pretty good. The first pan got a little darker than I wanted it to, but with no names mentioned a certain mother forgot to watch them for me! :) I guess they will be okay.

Like I said, I will be doing more during the rest of the week. If I remember to take pics of those days, I will share as well!

Harkness

After church on Sunday, we went to the shore for the afternoon. We brought a picnic with us and enjoyed the time in the sunny weather!

It was a little chilly so we just wrapped up in towels. I even got to do some knitting!

The sky was very pretty the whole time!

It started to rain a little bit, so we figured it was time to head out.

By the time we got packed up and back to the van, there was this pretty rainbow in the sky!

Overall, I'd say it was a success!

Thursday's

Pretty much every Thursday since the middle of February when the twins were born, I've been going up to Ben & Carla's house.  Sometimes I do some dishes or laundry, sometimes I play with the older two, or sometimes I just sit with the babies. Every week is a little different, but I am enjoying going!

Here's the boys yesterday sporting one of the outfits I gave them:
(Miles on left, Elliott on right)

Since it was so hot yesterday, we spent most of the afternoon outside! The older two had fun in the pool and the younger two had fun in their little saucer thing.

There has been quite a few times where I've even gotten to spend the night while Ben is away for work. I've definitely got experience with twin infants! However, I am thankful for this opportunity to get to know their family a little better, and both Ben and Carla have been very encouraging to me while I face this struggle of being unemployed.

The boys are growing up so fast and are turning into handsome little men! I can't believe they are almost 4 months old already!

3x

I just finished casting on my 200 stitches for my next project. This is the 3x I've casted on. I've had to rip it out already 2x and start over. So we'll see how long this lasts!
