Barn Fire

As most of you know, at least my reader's that live around here, my Uncle Ed & Aunt Cindy's alpaca barn burned down on Friday night. Thankfully none of them were hurt, nor were any of the animals. Due to it burning so fast, I don't have any pictures of that part. However, I do just have some that I took when I went on Saturday, so I thought I would share them. They aren't really in any specific order.

In this next picture, you can see the oil tank. Due to the fire being so hot, the tank was transparent and you could see right through it and see the oil bubbling in it!

The camper was on the right side of the barn, and that is ruined as well.

They had to pull all of the hay out of the barn as well. My uncle told me that every time they moved the hay, it started on fire again, so they had to spread it all out on the driveway and the firefighters had to keep extinguishing it.

There were three pick up trucks parked in front of the barn, and Uncle Ed and Logan were able to move two of them. Unfortunately, the fire was so hot that they couldn't get into the third truck, so they had to leave it. The front of it melted.

The fire also ruined some of the siding on the back of the house, the back fence by the pool, and the swing set.

Other than the two trucks they were able to move, it was a complete loss, but they do plan to rebuild. The most important thing though is that everyone is safe!
