School is going good so far this semester. This past weekend was very stressful as I was preparing for an exam on Monday evening. I spent Monday afternoon at my friend Maria's house studying together for the exam. It soon came time to leave for the exam and we decided to leave my car at her house and carpool to school together. So we sat for the exam and both soon realized that it wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be and that we hyped it up for no reason. On the way back to her house after the exam, we hashed it out and realized that we had gotten most of the same answers, so we knew we had done fairly well.
Fast forward 24 hrs to last evening. I log in to Blackboard and see that the professor had posted exam grades. So I click on it, and the grade comes up and says I got a 8/150. WHAT?!?!?!?!?! So I calculate it out and thats a 5.33%!! At this point, I am totally panicking!! How did I get a 5% on an accounting exam?!?! So I quickly text Maria, while totally freaking out, and she logs in to Blackboard and her grade says 126/150!! WHAT?!?!? Now I'm thinking she got an 84% and I got a 5%???? But we got most of the same answers!!!
At this point I'm pretty much going insane while Maria is trying to convince me that it must be a mistake. So I email the professor. A few hours pass, (while I sit there staring at my computer and panicking the whole time), before she emails me back. Here's her response: "The grade was a mistake. For some reason, several grades were missing the first two digits. Your grade was a 138. Nice job!" Good to know I probably wasn't the only one that had a panicked evening! So I got a 92% and I'm happy now!!
