Blogging Vaca/K's Birthday
I am taking a blogging vacation for the next few weeks. Stay posted for when I come back, there will be lots of pictures!
These pictures are from a few weeks ago. I wasn't able to make it to Kayleigh's birthday, so I took her and Kenzie out for the day to make up for it. Our first stop was McDonald's where they enjoyed their happy meals!
After lunch, our first stop was Bouncetown. I could hardly get them to sit still for some pics, so some are blurry!
We did some other fun things that day, but I didn't take any more pictures and at this point, I don't remember all of it!
See you back in blog world in a few weeks!

Some Thoughts
I've been a little on the discouraged/depressed side lately. All because I don't have a job and am struggling to pay bills. But last night at church, the sermon was really encouraging. We read St. John chapter 4. When I opened to that chapter, I glanced down and saw these words written in red "I have meat to eat that ye know not of." It reminded me that God has a plan for me, and only He knows what the future holds. After church I went to a friend and told him about it. I told him how it reminded me of what he had told me on Tuesday night. God does provide, we have that assurance, but it's not always in the way we expect or the way we want. But He provides as He sees best.
The minister also talked in the sermon about the weather the past few days. It has been extremely hot during the day, in the afternoon we see the clouds form, and then in the evenings comes the thunderstorms/rain. He said if we look off to the east, we can often see a rainbow in the rain. And if we look at the clouds, we can see the silver linings. This was a great reminder to me: There is a silver lining behind every cloud! So to those who may be struggling as well, remember that!

Memory Monday
Cape Cod with friends. June 2010.
Lots of memories from that week; it was 2 months before Rachel left church, so it's bittersweet looking back.
